He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stephenson and Emily Stephenson; and his sisters, Iris Gudzinski and Marsha Perry. He is survived by: his wife Alexis Stephenson; his children, Kelly Wingo (Scott), David Stephenson (Christy) and Sean Stephenson (Michelle); his brother Mike Stephenson (Kay); his grandchildren, Eli Kemp (Alyse), Abigail Parrott (Adam), Logan Howard (MaryJane), Connor Stephenson, Clay Stephenson, Kyle Stephenson, Cameron Stephenson (Cristina) and Delanie Stephenson; and his great grandchildren, Lyla, Lilly, Avery, Sonny, Jeremiah and Elijah.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213). A burial was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at the Westminster Memorial Gardens (2090 GA-54, Peachtree City, GA 30269).
