She was predeceased by: her mother Mary Hogue Eldridge; her spouse Charlie Henry Harris; and her siblings, Alease Moore, Freddie Page, Eunice Whitlock, Willie Eldridge, Fred Eldridge and James Eldridge.
She is survived by: her children, Alease Brooks (Oscar) of Fairburn, GA, Kim Mapp of Union City, GA, Eunice Eldridge of Palmetto, GA, Lawrence Eldridge (Charlotte) of Sutherlin, VA and Troy Harris of York, PA; and her sister Fannie Margaret Crews of Sutherlin, VA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the White Oak Grove Baptist Church (9012 Melon Rd, Sutherlin, VA 24594).
