He was predeceased by: his parents, Randall Ballard and Mary Alice Ballard. He is survived by: his wife Amy Shellnutt Ballard; his children, Lindsay Capps (Chris), Jennifer Barrow (David) and Noah Bryant Ballard; his grandchildren, Hadley McDaniel Capps, Paisley Mary-Clair Capps, Laken James Barrow and Lillian Denise Barrow; his brother Doug Ballard (Sue); and his brother-in-law Chris Shellnutt (Valerie).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parrott Funeral Home & Crematory (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Fairburn United Methodist Church (5 Washington St, Fairburn, GA 30213).
