He was predeceased by: his wife Edith Barrett; and his parents, James Barrett and Mattie Hubbard. He is survived by: his daughters, Zina L. Barrett of Newnan, GA and Jurena Barrett of Forest Park, GA.; his grandsons, Arthur J. Barrett of Rome, GA, Isaac T. Barrett and Izaiah T. Barrett of Newnan, GA.; his great grandchildren, Athena Rein Kirkland-Barrett and Matias James Kirkland-Barrett of Newnan, GA.; his siblings-in-law, Mattie Ransby, Mildred Ransby, Marie Ransby, James Isom and Roy Ransby; and his daughter-in-law Natalie Alix Barrett. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
