He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Johnston; his son Glen Johnston; his parents, Elizabeth Johnston and Joseph Johnston; and his siblings, Florence Johnson (Clifford), Ann Johnston, Joe Johnston, Kenneth Johnston (Diane), Jack Johnston and John Thomas Johnston.
He is survived by: his daughters, Andrea Cunningham and Gena Walker; his siblings, Katherine Coleman (Jerry), Stanton Johnston (Beverly) and Jimmy Johnston (Karen); his grandchildren, Jason Cunningham (Devon), Joshua Cunningham (Alex), Courtney Walker, Jessica Cunningham, Chelsea Walker, Camron Walker, Joseph Cunningham and Jaclyn Cunningham; and his great grandchildren, Mekena Newmeyer, Nash Cunningham, Ace Cunningham and Miller Cunningham.
