He was predeceased by: his parents, Alberta Martin and John Henry Smith. He is survived by: his children, Loretta Lee Smith (George Cody) and Lamar West Smith; his grandchildren, Timothy A. Smith (Jasmine) and Rashunda Y. Smith; his great grandchildren, Ja'Miyah Hill, Courtney Smith and Aiden Adams; and his siblings, Larry Smith and Toni Cosby Butler.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, July 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Holly Hill Memorial Park (431 SW Broad St, Fairburn, GA 30213).
