She was predeceased by: her former husbands, Wayland Ivy Foote, Jr. and Rev. Patrick Giffinand; her husband Thomas Clifford Gordon, Sr.; her parents, Robert Prater and Mattie Prater; and her grandson John O. Wallace, III.

She is survived by: her children, Wayland Foote (Joan) and Donna Wallace (John); her sister Joyce Hendrick; her grandsons, Matthew G. Wallace, Sr. (Amanda), Michael B. Wallace (LeAnne) and Jason S. Foote (Meagan); and her great grandchildren, Matthew G. Wallace, Jr. (Brooke), Ashley Brown (Ryan), Ariel Smith (Michael), Brooke Combs (Jarred), Heather Wallace (Frank Coate), John T. Wallace, Justin Wallace, Cameron Foote and Brandon Foote.
