He was predeceased by: his wife Beverly Butler Edwards; his parents, George Nelson and Lucy Edwards; and his sister Peggy Brown. He is survived by: his sons, Chad Edwards (Pat) and Blake Edwards (Stephanie); his grandchildren, Connor Edwards, Payton Edwards (Savannah), Madison Edwards, Lauren Shrake and Dani Morton (Sam); his great grandchildren, Piper Shrake and Chasen Edwards; and his brother John Edwards (Gail).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Parrott Funeral Home (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home (8355 Senoia Rd, Fairburn, GA 30213). A burial will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at the Holly Hill Memorial Park.
