Charles leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Charles’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He is survived by: his wife Pat Holmes; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Raleigh Holmes; his stepson John Eidson; his grandsons, Michael Holmes Jr. and Alex Holmes; his brother Jerry; his sister-in-law Virginia Holmes; and his niece Angie Jones.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cagle Funeral Home (364 E Church St, Jasper, GA 30143). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Robert A. Cagle Memorial Chapel. The military honors will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery.
