We announce the death of Peggy Austin McNair (Fairmount, Georgia), born in Dallas, Georgia, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Charlie Allen Bufford and William L. McNair; and her siblings, Buddy Austin, Gerldine Austin Cogburn and Buster Austin.
She is survived by: her son Charles Allen Bufford; her grandchildren, Charlie Allen Bufford II, Austin Parker Bufford and Maggie DellaRuth Bufford; and her family, David, Sybil McNair, Valerie and Graham Martin.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shiloh Baptist Church.
