He was predeceased by: his parents, Eamer J. Oliver and Minnie McDaniel Oliver; his children, Virgil Ben Oliver and Gloria Oliver Griffin; and his siblings, Eugene Oliver, James Oliver, Elmon, Bill Oliver, Eva Kate Hodge and Faye Wasdin.
He is survived by: his sons, Kent Oliver (Kristy) of Manor, Ivey Oliver of Manor and Charlie Oliver (Virginia) of Needmore; his stepson Ethan Henderson of Needmore; his caregiver Teresa Henderson of Needmore; his grandchildren, Chelsea Howard (Dylan) of Wasilla, Noah Griffin (Katelan), Lucas Roper and Jonnie Ray Roper of Needmore; his great grandchildren, Kenton Griffin, Willow Rouse, Everly Griffin, Alba Griffin and Natalie Griffin; and his siblings, Omer Oliver (Annie Mae) of Yulee, FL, John Oliver of Hortense, Grady Oliver (Jackie) of Waresboro, Junior Oliver (Shirley) of Hoboken, Geneva Raulerson of Hoboken and Carrie Mae Durr of Waycross. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
