He was predeceased by : his parents, W. Sherry Ellerbee and Vera Ellerbee; his daughter Patricia Hester; and his siblings, Eugene Ellerbee, Mary Ann Ellerbee and Martha Emmett.
He is survived by : his wife Rita Decker Ellerbee; his stepchildren, Mark Boyd and Michelle Boyd-Rogers; and his sister Sylvia Teggee. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
