Alvin Gilder Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alvin Gilder (Fayetteville, Georgia), born in Alamo, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Gilder and Pauline Gilder; his former wife Merle Roberts Gilder; and his siblings, Lennis Gilder and Claire Ann Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Gilder; his daughter Alison Burton (Jesse); his stepchildren, Pat Lowe (Kathy), Susan Cowart (Randy) and Reed Robertson (Kiley); and his siblings, Marie Allred, George Gilder and Raymond Gilder (Doris). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and grand and great grandchildren.
