She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Zavatchen and Anna Zavatchen; her husband Martin Macalak; and her grandson Grant Herron. She is survived by: her daughters, Susan Klein and Kim Herron; her son-in-law Stephen Herron; her grandson Bryce Herron (Joni); and her great grandchildren, Brooks, Josie and Stella Herron. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
