She was predeceased by: her husband Horace Dempsey; her parents, Robert "Tillman" Ogletree and Mary Louise Phillips; and her son Steve Dempsey. She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Ardie Dempsey; her granddaughter Kelsey Dempsey; her brother Robert Joel Ogletree (Sara Jane); her niece Pam Kramlich (Chip); and her nephew Chuck Ogletree (Julie). She is also survived by great-nieces and great-nephews and numerous cousins.
