It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ella Wilke (Fayetteville, Georgia), born in Stockdale, Texas, who passed away on May 25, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard L. Ware and Ina Ware (Smith); her husband Lorenz "Larry" Wilke; and her in-laws, Lorenz and Kathryn Wilke.

She is survived by: her cousin Dulce; her sons, Bart Wilke of Denver, CO and Scott Wilke (Kim) of Fayetteville, GA; her grandchildren, Anna Wilke, Renzy Wilke (Julia) and Lily Wilke; her sister Dulce Brasby (Bill) of Goose Creek, SC; and her brother-in-law Richard Wilke (Marian) of Sedona, AZ..

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in B's honor to the Homebound Ministry of Fayetteville First Baptist Church.

“Keith and I just heard about B… we are so sorry .. she was a wonderful person always thinking of others.. we knew B from Highland Crest in Green Bay .. she was always so good to keep in touch . She loved you all very much and would always have pictures to share … we are the Caddys that lived in the country and your mom and dad brought you and your brother to cut a Christmas tree down!! It was a fun day! They were both two great people.. so sorry for your loss.. but they are together today🙏”
