It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Sue Sanders of Fayetteville, Georgia, who passed away on October 13, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Barbara departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Barbara leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon David and Audrey David; and her granddaughter Darlene Sanders. She is survived by: her husband Jack E. Sanders; her sons, Marc Sanders (Samantha) of St. Louis and Derek Sanders (Tracy) of Peculiar, Missouri; and her siblings, Lois Carter, Robert David and Betty Williams (James). She is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mowell Funeral Home (180 N Jeff Davis Dr, Fayetteville, GA 30214).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House in her memory.
