He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Murray Hoke Cox and Willie Pearl Smith Cox; his brother Murray Hoke Cox, Jr.; his parents-in-law, Louise and John Ricketts; his son-in-law Denis Duncan; his wife Toni Cox; his children, Kim Duncan and Mike Cox (Fran); his grandchildren, Jeb Underhill and Clay Underhill; his stepgranddaughter Anna Holloway; and his close friend Earl Vining. He was also cherished by eight great-grandchildren.
