The passing of David Thomas Harp of Fayetteville, Georgia leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on October 22, 2025 at the age of 82. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ellen Lunsford and John Burch Harp, Sr.; his brothers, John Harp, Jr., Charles Harp, Walter "Kenny" Harp and William "Bill" Harp; and his son Greg Harp.
He is survived by: his wife Gayle Mize Harp; his daughter Kristi Oates; his grandchildren, Kaedy Martin (Beau), Kelsey Woods (Jason), Dale Harp (Hannah), Brennan, Coleman and Logan Oates; his great grandchildren, Connor, Parker Martin, Thomas, Hudson and Harper Kate Woods; his sister Patsy Elliott (Moody); and his sisters-in-law, Brenda Harp and Carolyn Harp. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mowell Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Fayetteville (180 N Jeff Davis Dr, Fayetteville, GA 30214). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
