With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Charles Combes of Fayetteville, Georgia, born in Milledgeville, Georgia, who passed away on August 21, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Newton Combes and Virginia Frances Veatch Combes; and his sister Sandra Dominy. He is survived by: his wife Sara Bugg Combes of Fayetteville; his children, Greg Combes (Cynthia) and Carol Lynn Hammons (Andy) of Nashville, TN; his grandsons, Ryan and Daniel Hammons; and his brother David Combes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Rather than flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to Newnan City Church, 17 First Avenue, Newnan, GA 30263.
