He was predeceased by: his wife Retha Hall Zimmerman; and his parents, Alden Zimmerman and Wilma Zimmerman. He is survived by: his children, Michael Zimmerman (Laura) of Opelika, AL and Rhonda McKinney (Nolan) of Franklin, GA; his grandchildren, Nicole Farruggia (Anthony), Christopher Zimmerman, Emily Constan (Nick), Zachary McKinney (Mishel) and Megan McKinney; and his great grandchild Anthony Farruggia, Jr..
