He is survived by: his children, Anastasia "Stasi" Buchanan (Falony), Alexander Buchanan and Gabrielle Buchanan; his stepmother Mildred Buchanan; his sister Antonia "DeDe" Buchanan; his half-brothers, Chris Buchanan and Greg Buchanan; his stepsiblings, Derrick "Ricky" Johnson and Rochelle Johnson (Stevenson); and his son George M. Buchanan, Jr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
