She was predeceased by: her parents, George Davis and Bessie Davis; her husband Benjamin "Howard" Byrd; and her son William Davis Byrd. She is survived by: her daughter Dale Byrd Tyson. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great- grandchildren.
