With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ingrid Pörtner Shields (Fayetteville, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2026 at the age of 84. She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Hermann Pörtner and Irmgard Pörtner. She is survived by: her daughter Adrienne Drummond (Mike); her grandchildren, Katharine Burch, Christopher Drummond (Erica) and Matthew Drummond (Alanna); her niece Monika Torkzadeh (Dara); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Julius, Alexander, Maximillian and Katharina; and her children, Sophie, David, Annalena and Ferdinand.
