James Baggs Obituary
We announce the death of James Baggs of Fayetteville, Georgia, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 69. James will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. James will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew James will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. James’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Armond Lamar Baggs, Jr. and Myrtle Hall Baggs; and his brother Armond Lamar Baggs, III. He is survived by: his wife Tracy T. Baggs of Fayetteville; his son Justin Baggs (Cara Anne Anderson) of Roswell; and his sister Regina Baggs (Ella Campbell) of Decatur.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Templeton-Baggs Cemetery.
