We are sad to announce that on June 7, 2025, at the age of 90, James Dwight Thigpen of Fayetteville, Georgia, born in Macon, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Norma Ann Fowler; and his daughter Robin Thigpen. He is survived by: his children, Tracy Thigpen and Wendy Kirsche; his daughter-in-law Wendy Kirsche; his grandchildren, Ashley Daniel (Sims), Robin Williams (Thigpen) and Jacob Williams; his grandsons-in-law, Jacob Williams, Robin Williams (Thigpen) and Ashley Daniel (Sims); and his great grandchildren, Emery Elizabeth, Kaleigh, Seth, Liam, Scarlett, Mason and Atlis.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mowell Funeral Home and Cremation Service - Fayetteville (180 N Jeff Davis Dr, Fayetteville, GA 30214). A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery (144 Brooks Woolsey Rd, Fayetteville, GA 30215).
