With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lanna Joyce Hernley (Fayetteville, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 23, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Lanna departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Lanna. Though Lanna may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Martin and LaVerne Martin; and her sisters, Jean Cain (LeRoy) and Donna Marini. She is survived by: her husband Kendall Hernley; her daughter Amy (John Matusek); her grandson Andrew Matusek (Shelby); her great grandchild Ledger; her granddaughter Lacy Patton (Cody); her great grandchild Landon; her son George (Michael Brinkos); and her granddaughter Angelina Zimmerman (Kyle). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
