He is survived by: his wife Arlene Loveless Mauldin; his daughter Shelley Brantley (John); his grandchildren, Caleb Brantley-Pippin (Heather), Darrien Mauldin and Nathan Mauldin; and his siblings, Dianne Thomas, Rose Mary Davis and David Mauldin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
