He was predeceased by: his wife Rachel Cole Colbert; and his parents, John Onan Colbert and Evelyn Bernice Colbert. He is survived by: his daughter Dawn Burnette (Rod); his grandchildren, Ansley and Beck; his daughter Kari King (Jon); his grandchildren, Dillan, Devin and Michael (Kayla); his daughter Kate Pruitt (Lee); his grandchildren, Ethan and Hazel; and his daughter Meredith Colbert (Alex).
