He was predeceased by: his father Charles Edward Shaw; his brother Eddie Shaw; and his nephews, Joel and Danny Shaw. He is survived by: his wife Mary Angeline "Angie" Coulter Shaw; his daughters, Lisa Shaw and Kari Laskowitz (Ryan); his grandchild Jaden Shaw; his brothers, Tony Shaw (Lynda) and Tim Shaw (Darlene); and his nephew Zack Shaw.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia in Billy's name.
