He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Hershel Shaw and Mamie Lee Weathers Shaw; his wife Beatrice Yvonne Bowling Shaw; his son Jerry Shaw; and his siblings, Barbara Jean Haynes, Curtis Shaw and Cleve Shaw.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Rapier (Steve), Rick Shaw (Mary), Kenneth Shaw (Delores) and David Shaw (Irie). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews.
