He is survived by: his wife Mary Evelyn Hottel Mitchell of Flowery Branch, GA; his children, Scott Mitchell (Dawn) of Hampton, VA, Glenn Mitchell (Elizabeth) of Fayetteville, NC and Linda Mitchell (Nicolas Edmonds) of Simpsonville, SC; and his stepdaughter Cheryl Danielson (Jeffrey) of Land. He is also survived by grandchildren and 2 precious great-grandchildren.
