She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis Ray McCowan; and her son Curtis Ray Lockhart. She is survived by: her children, Ronnie McCowan, Bennie (Diana McCowan), Sandy (John VanAllen), Penny Boyd and Susan (Ricky McCullough). She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
