It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert C. Phillips of Flowery Branch, Georgia, who passed away on November 15, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Jasper and Connie Hudson Phillips; his wife Myra Phillips; and his sisters, Eldred Murdock and Sylvia Rampley.
He is survived by: his sister Brenda Jordan (William Jordan); his children, Sherrie Phillips, Gil Phillips (Christine Phillips) and Cary Phillips (Kim Phillips); his grandchildren, Kyle Phillips (Emily Phillips), Patrick Phillips (Michelle Phillips), Zach Phillips (Tammy Phillips), Jacob Phillips and Sarah Phillips; and his great grandchildren, Rollins Phillips and Bennett Phillips. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the North Gwinnett Co-Op, an organization Gilbert volunteered with for many years.
