He is survived by: his wife Lois Hurt of Flowery Branch, GA; his children, Rita Turnipseed (David) of Cookeville, TN, Jack Hurt, Jr. (Patty) of Alto, GA and Lisa Gaines of Gainesville, GA; his sisters, Karen Hurt Chastain (David) and Rhonda Allen Crenshaw (Bill) of Gainesville, GA; his sister-in-law Barbara Hurt of Brundage, GA; and his close friend Lou Sharp. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 1 great- grandchild.
