She was predeceased by : her parents, William Gaba and Ann Gaba. She is survived by : her husband Leonard W. Metzel; her daughters, Kathy Stringer (Dave) and Lori Vincenzo (Chris); her grandchildren, Kaitlin Tewksbury (Brandon), Alissa Fox (Lucian), Annmarie Vincenzo (Chris), Rachel Vincenzo (Drew), Zack Vincenzo and Precious; and her great grandchildren, Cooper and Riley Tewksbury.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, April 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home (4121 Falcon Pkwy, Flowery Branch, GA 30542).
