He was predeceased by: his father Ray Watkins; and his brother-in-law Kenny Thompson. He is survived by: his mother Virginia Turk Watkins of Gainesville; his wife Vicky Watkins of Gainesville; his daughters, Haley (Mike Jones) and Bethany (Mark Floyd); his grandchildren, Michael Jones, Amelia Jones, Charlie Floyd and Lincoln Floyd; his sister Sharon; his brother-in-law Gary Souther of Gainesville; his siblings, Sondra Thompson of Clarksville, Shelia Lawson of Austell and Mark; his sister-in-law Linda Watkins of Flowery Branch; and his brother Chris Watkins (Paul Singh).
