He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Smith and Arlene Bell Smith; his father-in-law Robert Watson; and his sister-in-law Carole Watson Allan. He is survived by: his wife Anne Watson Smith; his stepchildren, Jennifer Gibbs (Scott), Bobby Ward (Matt Dolloff) and Jeff Ward (Diana); his grandchildren, David Gibbs, Freddy, Erick and Anna Kate Ward; his sister Debbie O'Conner (Bobby); his mother-in-law Doris Watson; and his brother-in-law Mark Allan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and special friends.
