He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Cole and Lillian Ramey Cole; his siblings, Ricky Cole, Darlene McDaniel, Karen McDaniel, Dorsey Cole, Wendell Cole and Travis Cole; and his parents-in-law, Wilburn and Betty Crane.
He is survived by: his wife Janyce Cole; his sons, Shannon Cole and Kevin; his daughter-in-law Loida Cole; his grandchildren, Nathan Cole and Amber Cole; his sister Phyllis; his brother-in-law Leon Henderson; his siblings, Margie Birdwell and Keith Cole; and his siblings-in-law, Denna Cole, Dori Cole, Sonya Smallwood (Tommy) and Marty Crane. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
