He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Powell and Murrye Powell. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his daughters, Shannon Powell Valentine (Kurt) and Jennifer Powell Piltawer (Nik); and his grandchildren, Lauren Valentine, Kurt Valentine, Charlotte Piltawer, Adrian Piltawer and Juliette Piltawer. He is also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
