She is survived by: her husband Joseph "Joe" Covert; her children, Aaron Asbury Covert, Jacob Stanton Covert and Catherine Grace Covert; her parents, Charles R. "Bob" Vaughn and Vicki McClelland; her stepparents, Donna Vaughn and James "Jim" McClelland; her stepsiblings, Tracy Lovig and Scott George; and her sister Karen Emmons. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Wendi's memory to the Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center (https://www.nghs.com) which provided outstanding hospice care to Wendi and the family.
