It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emily Conner (Folkston, Georgia), who passed away on May 16, 2025, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Emily Conner to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband James Dane Conner; her father Donald Davis; her birth mother Evalina Swearingen Davis; her mother Vida Swearingen Davis; and her great great grandchild Aspyn Johns.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Vanzant (Floyd), Donnie Conner (Joan), Norval Conner (Judy), Jimmy Conner (Wanda), Lena Johns (Charles), Bill Conner (Cathy) and Daphne Pickren (Sam); her grandchildren, Micah, Vickie, Tara, Kevin, Jamie, Gannon, Jason, Tammi, Traci, Becka, Amy, Sheri, Krista, Erin, Emy, Clay, Garrett, Dana, Joe Dan, James Byron and Anna; and her caregiver Emily. She is also survived by 46 great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home (526 Oakwood St, Folkston, GA 31537). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Nathalene Primitive Baptist Church (29411 Pigeon Creek Rd, Hilliard, FL 32046).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Nathalene Cemetery Fund.
