He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Prescott; his son George Prescott; his grandchildren, Candi Lewis (Zack) and Caitlyn Bulloch (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Kenzie, Liam, Joey and Madeline; his sister Annie; and his brother-in-law Roger Thrift.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shepard-Roberson Funeral Home (526 Oakwood St, Folkston, GA 31537). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shepard Roberson Funeral Home (526 Oakwood St, Folkston, GA 31537).
