He is survived by: his children, Sharon Whigam Beal (Chip) of Waycross, Georgia and Michael Otto Whigam (Vickie) of Hilliard, Florida; his grandchildren, Anna Beal Davis (Michael) of Waycross, James Acres Beal V (Summer) of Richmond Hill and Perry Daniel Whigam (Skye) of Waverly, Georgia; his great grandchildren, Brayden Davis, Asher Davis, Acres Beal, Harper Beal and Camden Davis; and his sisters-in-law, Laverne F. Crenshaw of Cordele, Jacqueline F. Taylor of Cordele and Jacqueline M. Whigam of Augusta, Georgia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Folkston (1320 3rd St, Folkston, GA 31537). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
