She was predeceased by: her significant other Jackie Douglas Rice; her mother Violet May Dietrich; and her former husband Rod DeFiore. She is survived by: her family, Tara Moore Ocepek (Mark) of Fernandina Beach, Florida and Greg Moore of Tampa, Florida; her grandchildren, Abby Ocepek Singleton (Alex) of Fernandina Beach, Florida, Bryce Ocepek of Fernandina Beach, Florida and Jack Ocepek of Fernandina Beach, Florida; her family, Barry Moore, Brandi DeFiore and Eileen Lewis; and her great grandchildren, Blakely and Scarlett Singleton.

A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Bethel Methodist Church (1463 3rd St, Folkston, GA 31537).
