He was predeceased by : his parents, Morris Tallant and Wynell Tallant; his former life partner Helen Potts; his son Ricky Tallant; and his grandson Christopher Anthony Tallant.

He is survived by : his children, Barbara Pitts (Steve), Donna Cruse (Leon) and Karon Kalb; his close friend Josephine Blanchard; his daughter-in-law Diane Tallant; his brother Rade Tallant (Faye); and also, Vera Blanchard, Vickie Howard (Fabian), Cathy Shipp and Johnny Blanchard. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
