With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Denny Cox of Forsyth, Georgia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Denny left this world on June 6, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Jr. Cox and Rosa Myers Cox; and his brother Edwin Cox. He is survived by: his daughters, Shannon Clayton of Sulphur Springs, TX and Cassandra Sikes of Knoxville, TN; his caregiver Denise Hall; his brother Ken Cox (Glenda) of Marion, NC; and his grandchildren, Lily Elizabeth, Aubrey, Kaitlyn and Colton. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Ivie Funeral Home (67 NC-69, Hayesville, NC 28904). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
