He was predeceased by: his parents, Crayton Henry Evans and Essie Mae Mixon; and his siblings, Gerald Henry Evans and Lola Toole. He is survived by: his wife Kahran Stringfellow Evans; his children, Ellis Wayne Evans, Jr. (Andrea), Dr. Marcus Christopher Evans (Laura), Rebecca Evans Dogan and Brooke Evans Stanley (Nathan); and his grandchildren, Collier Evans, Thatcher Evans, Chance Kornegay, Anne Travis Evans, Christopher Evans, Mary Frances Evans, Bagcan Dogan, Evans Olivia Stanley, Janna Stanley and Nate Stanley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snow's Memorial Chapel. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the New Providence Baptist Church (2560 US-41, Forsyth, GA 31029).
