She was predeceased by: her parents, George Garrett Jackson and Loris Chancellor Jackson; her former husband Sanford "Buck" Godfrey; her husband L. Russell Harris; and her sister Jean Jackson McLeod (Richard).

She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl Godfrey Sapp; her grandchildren, Jessica Sapp Sheffield, Jennifer Sapp, Matthew Sapp (Ginger) and Stacey Sapp Califf; her stepchildren, Richard Outler (Minnie), Pandy Horton (Gary) and Ben Harris (Nikki); and her nieces, Kathy Ivey (Mike) and Martha MacGillivary (Ken). She is also survived by two great nephews; and one great great niece.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Rogers Church (11576 GA-74, Forsyth, GA 31029). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Rogers Church Cemetery (11576 GA-74, Forsyth, GA 31029).
