She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos L. Ham and Iler Mae Ham; her husband James Glover Stuart; her siblings, Venita Ham, Caroline Ham Martin and Richard L. Ham (Glover Stuart); her granddaughter Kennedy Stuart; and her great grandchild Hope Young.

She is survived by: her children, Yvonne Stuart, Celeste Smarr, Stan Stuart (Julie) and Lynn Devereaux (Bryant); her grandchildren, Nathan Jackson (Michelle), Brandon Stuart (Laura), Brooke Hadden (Michael), Kasey Smarr (Rachael), Emily Smarr (Aaron Brymer) and Melissa Etheridge (Cody); and her great grandchildren, Gracie Jackson, Faith Jackson, Dylan Parrish, Kaylee Hadden, Riley Hadden, Tyler Hadden, Matti Young, Sammy Young, Joy Young, Eli Stuart, Charlie Stuart, Caleb Etheridge, Lainey Etheridge and Karter Smarr. She is also survived by her family, friends.
